Was in San Francisco this past weekend for Jess’s birthday. We did the tourist thing the days leading up to her birthday and attended Monday Night Football the day of. Frog Pond Trail
Went into the Red Buttes Wilderness, that sits on the Oregon California border, to hike to Frog Pond. Using this hiking book, this trail is listed as moderate, which is crap. The trail goes straight up a mountain cutting back and forth, climbing over 5 foot wide trees, under 8 foot wide trees, you have to drive through a ford to get there.
